If the oracle is wrong, late, or frozen, Aave can be calm while the world is not, or harsh while the world is calm.
Stale price
A stale price is an oracle value that has not updated while the market moved. Ronnie does not currently display last-update age or a stale flag. If you need that, use the oracle address on Contracts or the asset page and inspect it on an explorer. On the wallet card, a stale Aave position snapshot is a different warning: the fetched position data may be old, with a refresh prompt.
Price deviation
Deviation means the oracle disagrees with other venues. Ronnie does not compute a deviation percent. Treat the printed Oracle price as Aave's number, then compare elsewhere yourself if you must.
Oracle update and configuration change
Price updates happen in the oracle contracts. Configuration changes (which feed a reserve uses) are governance and configurator territory. Watch Governance, Live Activity All, and the Oracle row on Contracts.
